Country in the Park Recap
Country in the Park 2012 was a HUGE success! Thank you to everyone who joined us for an amazing afternoon of food, friends and live country music!
More than 5,300 people attended this year’s event, which featured award-winning singer/songwriter Phil Vassar, up-and-comer Jana Kramer also of “One Tree Hill” and “Friday Night Lights” fame, and local’s favorite the Tony Marques Band. Phil Vasser even stayed after his performance to sign CDs for those who purchased them at the event.
Presented by Mountain’s Edge master planned community and Vegas Country 95.5 KWNR, the free event included a beer garden, food vendors, and booths and exhibits. Additionally, PODS of LAS VEGAS, which provides moving and storage solutions with portable storage containers, collected books for the nonprofit organization Spread the Word Nevada at its PODS® CONTAINER booth during the event.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s event! For more photos from Country in the Park 2012 are posted on our Facebook page, which you can find by clicking here.

In addition to great live music, Country in the Park also brought delicious food and beverages to Exploration Park.
