There are just eight days left to donate to the “Together We CAN” food drive! So far about 400 cans have been collected, but the Mountain’s Edge Master Association hopes to double that number by December 10, when the donation drive wraps up. So far, we’ve received a lot of donations of pastas and soups. We could use more of the pet items from the following list, but we appreciate anything you are able to donate to support The Shade Tree of Las Vegas.
Canned food and nonperishable food items collected during the “Together We CAN” food drive will be donated to the nonprofit organization that helps the homeless and abused. Its wish list includes: pasta, rice, spaghetti sauce, baby food, chili, tissues, paper towels, tuna, soup, and sandwich bags. For pets, needed items are: dog and cat treats, paper towels, pet friendly cleaner (for the kennels), potty bags, large trash bags, and gift cards to PetSmart or Petco.
Together we can bring holiday cheer to those in need by donating today. The Shade Tree shelters homeless and abused women, children and their pets.
Donations will be accepted through December 10, and may be dropped off at the Mountain’s Edge Master Association Office (5588 S. Fort Apache Rd., Suite 100) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday or at the Mountain’s Edge Information Center (9275 S. Buffalo Rd.) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday thru Saturday.
