Summer is in full swing – the heat has arrived and so has the fun! There are so many ways to enjoy the start of the season in and near our community.
The splash pad at Nathaniel Jones Park, a 20-acre park right here in Mountain’s Edge, is a great place to stay cool! Kids can romp, play and splash at this popular attraction. The park is also home to basketball courts, walking trails and large grassy areas, perfect for picnics, play time, and relaxing.
Want an adventure that’s close to home? Take a short climb up Exploration Peak right at the entrance of our community. Located at Exploration Park, it is a fully restored 2,846-foot-tall natural mountain park. The views are breathtaking, and the hike is fun for beginners and experienced hikers, both big and small. The top of the peak features a sitting area and look out points. The park features a splash pad, a Western Village great for play, running paths, and more.
Have an adventurous spirit? Our community is just a short drive away from Red Rock Canyon. This amazing National Conservation Area is great for taking in views of unique geology, beautiful mountains and the entire Las Vegas Valley. Hike, hang out, and go wild in this wondrous part of nature!
